It’s on probably 99% of the time.   Dishes, cooking (except for sticking my hands in meat or something, which I dont like to do and usually have hubby do anyways) hand washing, showering, gardening, beaches, pools, vacations, etc… its on there.  It only comes off if I’m painting, staining, or some other woodworking type finishing.

i do take it off at home if i’m getting into something messy. i always take it off before i remove my makeup/put on pjs. It’s the last thing I put on in the morning before I leave. It gets dirty as it is, i don’t need to get makeup and lotion and hairspray and food on it.

I take it off just before I go to sleep and then it goes back on after my morning shower.

I can’t get a good night’s sleep with any jewelry of any kind on, so it all has to come off.

I take it off to shower. Too scared of it going down the drain. And to do dishes. I didn’t wear it on our 4 day camping trip either. Otherwise I do everything else with it on.

smstewart:  MIne comes off for dishes & showers at DH’s insistence.  Usually when I’m washing my hands.  I avoid wearing it if I’ll be doing anything that it’ll get goopy, lotion, raw meat, some baking etc.

I wear my wedding band almost all the time and have been known to leave the house with just the wedding band depending on where I’m going – my hands tend to swell in the heat and having both rings makes it worse.  I don’t wear my rings to the gym either.

I work in the Operating Room, so I don’t wear my rings on my finger while I am at work. I wear them on a necklace instead. Some of my coworkers wear their rings at work, but I don’t want to risk anything happening to them or getting anything gross on them. I also don’t wear my ring while I sleep or shower. At the end of my shift, I am always very excited to put my rings back on.

I only put mine on when I am leaving the house on a day off because I’m not allowed to wear it at work once it’s on it stays there until bed unless I’m doing something messy, having a shower etc

I take mine off when doing dishes, showering, using chemicals, putting on lotion, swimming, and when I go to sleep. When it is not on my finger it lives in the ring box from the jeweler.

I wear my engagement ring when I go out. I’m on mat leave now so can’t be bothered to wear it. I do intend on wearing it when I go back to work. I wear my wedding band all the time.

It’s soldered to y wedding bands, so whenever I’m wearing my ring. I don’t wear it when I’m doing the dishes, putting lotion on, or working out. If I did more lawn work, I wouldn’t wear it then either. Oh, and on Sundays (or any weekend day when I’m just sitting around the house), I don’t wear it then usually until I get ready.

smstewart:  I wear mine everyday, all the time. The only time I’ve taken it off is to clean it, do dishes, do any cooking with raw meats (etc) and when I’m putting on lotion.
