It’s off for dishes, working out, showering, messy cooking, putting on lotion, and when my hands are really swollen.

My ring is off almost immediately when I come home.  When I work out it is off, locked in the car.  When I shower it is never on, dishes cooking etc it comes off.  Anythign sports or outdoors it comes off.  Walking the dog (unless i’m doing it quick on lunch break), or taking her to the park where we play and run, it comes off.

I don’t want to risk knocking my stone or scratching up the band further.  If we are having a lazy weekend at home, I may not even put it on once!

All day, everyday! I do get paranoid about loosing iit in water though, so I may put it in it’s ring box if I go swimming.  I’m a jewlery person though. I wear a diamond necklace and onxy ring (along with my ering) all the time, even when I’m sleeping.

smstewart:  I don’t normally wear my engagement ring (only to special events), only my wedding band. For my job, I prefer not to have the bulky stone as it can cut my gloves and that’s not good. I do take out my wedding band while doing dishes most of the time, other than that it stays. Nowdays though, I have been having taking it out for most of the time when I am at home because I am pregnant, and some days it feels too tight.

smstewart:  Any time my hands will be submerged in water (i.e. bathing and dishes) or when I’m doing something rough, like working in the garden or garage when it can get scuffed or bent out of shape I remove it.

My problem is remember to put them back on! I’m terrible at this, so I typically wear it about 50% of the time… But lately it’s been less than 5% of the time… I’m pregnant and my hands are swollen, so I CAN wear it if I have a work meeting, or we got out to eat or something, both otehrwise it’s tucked safely away in my jewelry box.

Every second I can!  I only take it off to shower, do dishes, clean the house & sleep. I LOVE sleeping with it but I’ve read it can be damaging to the ring if you end up putting pressure on the prongs so off it goes! My ring is a delicate solitaire and I’m constantly concerned with taking good care of it.

I only take mine off for showering/swimming, and dishes. The rest of the time I always have it on. Probably why i’ve had to take it in to get fixed three times now..

Don’t have a problem taking it off for working out, heavy cleaning or messy cooking. Sometimes I just don’t want anything on my hands off it comes. I’m not a huge jewelry person.

Like a lot of the other bees have said I remove it for showering and dishes. Although I’ve started contemplating getting a place holder for vacations and outdoor activities, realized I don’t feel super comfortable wearing it to the beach.

I used to wear it all the time – all day, every day. Three years after being married I’ve gotten to the point that I don’t want to be wearing any jewlery when I’m at home. One of the first things I do when I walk in the door is take all my jewlery off. I purchased a QALO ring to wear when working out a while back which is soooo comfortable. Now I find myself wearing it all the time. I still wear my rings when “going out”.

I wear sometimes around the house, if I forget to take it off I take a shower with it, if I’m working out I also take it off, to sleep usually it is off too..

If I’m out of the house I wear it..

I do wear my wedding band all the time thou.. =)
