my hubby never removes his. I, on the other hand, take mine off the second i walk in the door and rarely even put it on if we are having a lazy saturdaay and staying around the house.
I have always removed my jewelery as soon as I got home and cant sleep in it!

Mine doesn’t wear one at all 🙂

He doesn’t sleep in his, and I figured if he wasn’t going to, then neither was I. I think he takes it off for showers, but he usually showers while I’m not home. Other than that, he wears it everyday.

I would prefer that Fiance wears his all the time, but I know that’s not reasonable. For example, in the summer, we often find ourselves with a spontaneous invitation to someone’s pool. I can’t wear my ring in the pool, so there may be some weekends that I leave it at home. So, I wouldn’t expect him to wear it every single day either.
My ex-H, on the other hand, lost his and didn’t bother to replace it until after I left the marriage (for other reasons, not the ring). That sucked.

DH only takes it off to shower and wash the dishes.

I agree. When we first got married and DH was getting used to wearing and being comfortale with his ring, he forgot to put it back on frequetly.
Now that we’ve been married for a year and a half, he only takes it off for showers and to play tennis.

My husband only takes his off when he gets in the shower other than that it never leaves his finger. I on the hand take my ring off everyday when I get home and only put it on if I am leaving the house because the center stone catches on everything.

I don’t wear mine around the house much – I take it off when I am about to start dinner and it stays off until I go to work the next day. I don’t really notice if H wears his around the house, sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn’t. But I do notice if he forgets to put it on when we go somewhere, I ask him “are you married today?” and he shows me his hand. It doesn’t really bother me when he forgets, I just want him to get into the habit of wearing it since he never wore any jewelry before.

DH forgets his often, honestly I dont think he likes wearing it because he is just not a jewelry person. He doesn’t wear it when he golfs (which is all the time in the summer) because its uncomfortable. It doesn’t bother me – he makes a point of putting it on when he goes out with out me.
It doesn’t bother me at all…but also my dad never wore his ring, so maybe its just what is normal to me?

My DH never takes it off. I told him to take if off when he sleeps so his finger can breathe. He had a similar ring before and he never took it off and his finger got all wrinkly from all the trapped water, it was GROSS. But he refuses to take his ring off because when he does, he forgets it and feels horrible.

My husband wears it mayve 10x per year. He can’t wear it to work and only puts it on for a special occassion. I jokingly asked him if he was going to wear his ring to the hospital when I’m in delivery or are they going to think he’s the boyfriend.

We aren’t married yet, but honestly I won’t have a leg to stand on if he doesn’t. I always forget to put my e ring on, and probably wear it 50 percent of the time. I’m a major idiot because I flew to go to a get together my Future inlaws were hosting to introduce me to family last weekend, and I forgot my E ring! I was freaking out big time, I have a cousin who works for Jetblue and was able to arrange for a trusted coworker to bring to the airport for me! Basically Fi isn’t going to let me forget that one for a while. So I let it slide if he forgets too. I hope we both get used to it, and wear our wedding bands after we are married.

My DH wears his whenever he leaves the house. It’s part of the keys, credit card, wedding band, checklist. When he’s home he takes it off – it goes in the same spot. If it bothers you that’s one thing, but to be paranoid of what other people think is silly IMO. DH wearing his ring makes him no more or less committed to me, in fact I have retired my wedding band (1/2 size smaller) and my ering will be going soon since pregnancy has swollen my fingers.

He wears it all the time except when he’s scrubbed in for surgery. I always worry he’s going to lose it since he takes it off almost daily for that.
