I take all of my jewerly off when I get home everyday. No exceptions! I am just paranoid if anything happens to my ring.

I only wear my ring when I go out. TBH, I feel keep the ring on all the time will deform my finger.

I take mine off to shower, apply lotion, and when I’m baking. If I’m just whipping up a quick dinner, I leave it on. Kneading bread? Nope!

@BlondeeBee:  almost never. I take my ring off when I get in the shower and thats it.

I keep my ring on even when doing dishes, or cooking. I will clean the ring afterwards if it does get dirty.

@BlondeeBee:  I only take mine off at home when I shower and I leve it at home when I play soccer. Otherwise I wear it all the time. I never ever take it off outside the home because that is a fast way to lose it!

I also remove it if Im cooking something messy ( meatballs or meatloaf), and if I am washing the floors or cleaning. I should probably take it off when I do dishes…

I pretty much only wear mine when I leave the house now.  I usually take it off when I get home to go workout and I see no reason to put it back on.  On the weekends I would wear it if I went out somewhere.  I don’t wear it when I’m cooking, baking, cleaning, working out, showering.

I don’t have much reason to wear it around the house, it will get little hairs under the prongs from my blankets which irritates me.

I’m not really a jewelry person.  I only wear earrings or necklaces if I’m going out on the weekend.

Only when I take a shower, then it goes back on after I’m finished apply facial creams and hair products.

And when I’m mixing food with my hands. I don’t want food getting under the diamond, in between the prongs.

I usally take it off and put it back in the box when I get home from work. Also if I’m home alone at the weekends and not going out or seeing anyone I won’t put it on. So usually when I am up/dressed/showered in the morning I will put it on to go out to work etc.

@Scintillante:  Same! I really dislike not having anything on my wedding finger. You may have actually kind of inspired me to have multiple wedding sets 😉 including inspiration to take the plunge and get rose gold!

I have a “nice” band which was an anniversary gift. I wear it when I’m dressing up, ie. leaving the house for anything other than work:

I have an everyday band, which I wear pretty much always, including cleaning/chores, and sleeping:

And I have just bought a very sturdy and very plain cobalt chrome band, to wear when I am doing things like rock climbing and martial arts (which I do a lot!) I don’t have a pic of it on my hand yet, but it’s a heavy-weight, 4mm plain white metal band. That thing will stanmd up to punishment, so I’ll never have to be ringless 🙂

I take my ring off when I shower, wash my hands or face, and appy lotion or hand sanitizer. I don’t want products gunking up the diamonds or the swirly details under the halo.

I thought I’d be a 24/7 kinda fiance but I pretty much take it off when I get home along with my watch and bracelets. It makes Fiance nervous when I take it off so if he’s around I’ll only take it off to sleep and shower or work in the kitchen. I don’t take it off when I’m outside of the house. I used to take it off to put lotion on after handwashing, but I’ve gotten too lazy, I put lotion on like 15 times a day.

I take mine off to sleep most of the time. I take it off to do dishes, or to do any kind of cooking with my hands, for any kind of working out, and for showering. I also take it off any time I put on lotion. It almost always goes right back on my hand right after.

If I did painting or worked with clay or anything like that, basically anything messy that I’d wash my hands after doing, I’d take it off, too. If I went to a studio to do this I’d likely leave it at home to avoid losing it. All these other times that I take my ring off, it goes into a special box so I never misplace it. I wouldn’t want to set it on a counter or put it in a pocket… I’d be too worried about losing it.

If I start going to the gym again, I’d likely leave the ring at home for that, as well. I might wear a stand-in if I feel like it.

After reading so many articles, I am more careful with my rings.  I take it off when:

1) applying makeup, hair products

2) shower

3) bedtime

4) applying handcream

5) cleaning/housework/ any work that may scratch my rock/band.

6) sport/swimming

I am babying my rings after I saw some horrified photos of chipped diamond on internet

I don’t wear my engagement ring at work, but I will wear my wedding band.

I always take off my ring when I shower, put on lotion, am cleaning or cooking stuff like raw meat. I sometimes take it off when I sleep.
