I’ll be 26 and him 30. So far we’ve haven’t heard any comments, but I think that’s about the average age to get marry here.

DH1 and i were both 24 on our wedding day (we were both 20 when we got engaged).  i got that crap a lot.  i look a lot younger than i am too, so that didn’t help.  it’s a load of crap, and it’s not anyone’s business but your own.  and our marriage was happy and i daresay would have lasted if he hadn’t passed away.

I am a little younger then most of the 20 something brides out there! Im 21 and FH is the same age! We were highschool sweethearts, and together for 5 years! I get the comment from people who don’t know me, but everyone else around us are so excited for us! We may be young but we own a house together, both have good jobs, we both know what we are getting into! It doesn’t bother me to much that they say im to young, cause I know they are wrong although I would like people to stop giving lectures about being to young when they don’t know anything about me!

Im 21 and my fiance is 23. We are both full time college students and work full time. We have lived together for 3 years and everyone knows we are best friends.

We actually have not had many people concerned with our age. I think this is because most people think we are both older than we actually are. A lot of people said “about time” because of how long we have been together. Our families are very happy for us.

We arent waiting until we graduate, we dont see the point. I think if you want to be married, get married. An engagment over 6 months is just silly. We got engeged March 21 and are getting married July 8th. We are paying for everything ourselves so the wedding is small ($8K total) but I would prefer a small perfect wedding now than a huge wasteful wedding in 2 years. We have other things to save for.

Im only 19, will be married when im 20, and he will almost be 22. so i hear that ALL the time. It doesn’t even bother me anymore when people ask that OR when they say im to young. When you’re so sure about your feelings toward someone, why wait.

My fiance and I look young. I’ve gotten asked if I was 16 before (I’m 23). So people ask us how old we are all the time. When we get married I’ll be 24 and he’ll be 26. I don’t think that’s too young. LOL.

I’m 22 and my Fiance is 33. We’ll be 24 and 34 when we get married (we’re just about 10 years apart). I don’t think he’s too old and I don’t think I’m too young. Like PPs said, there’s no right age. I haven’t gotten any “You’re too young!” comments, though my mom did mention it making her feel old when we announced our engagement.

I’m 19 and my Fiance just turned 20-I will be 20 next month. We will both be 20 when we get married (He will be turning 21 2 days after the wedding and I will be 21 a month after the wedding). And yes…People think that we are WAYYYY too young to be getting married. I will be an RN 6 months after we are married and he is going to college to be a minister and our ultimate dream is to be missionairies overseas. We are both hardworking and will be just fine. Guess we just have to prove it to everyone else.

My Fiance and I had both just turned 23 when we got engaged.  We have been together since we were 17, moved in together when we were 19..and have lived together ever since.  We bought a house together last year too!  I have had a couple of people say, “are you too young” but once I say by the time we are married we will be together for 7 years, they understand a little bit better.  We will be 24 when we get married.
