19 and got married 3 months ago. Got engaged at 18, just after highschool graduation. Not planning on kids until we’re done with school and have things more settled. Probably 5ish years. πŸ™‚

There isn’t really any such thing as “too old” or “too young”. Naive, yes, but at any age people make mistakes.

If he’s the one, he’s the one. You just know when you do πŸ™‚

@Stranger516:  To answer your questions I’m 31 & engaged.  I will be 32 when I get married.

I have to add that while I respect the decision that some folks make to marry young, I am a very different person now than I was at 23.  At 23, I had graduated from undergrad and was working full time. I traveled a lot with friends and spent a lot of time trying to figure out what kind of like I wanted.  I ended up going to law school and meeting my fiancé there, at the age of 27.  During that time many of my friends were married and some began having children and while I definitely pined to find my fiance, get married and have children before I met my fiancé  my life has fallen into place in a remarkable way.

I guess what I’m saying is, life is a journey and everyone has their own path.  You will find yours. Don’t worry about where others are in their lives because while your busy worrying about where you should be in life, your life is happening.  πŸ™‚

Im 29 and Waiting.  SO is 33, about to be 34 in April. Only began feeling remotely ready for engagement (let alone marriage) within the last few months so I definitely feel like you have all of the time in the world!  SO and I have been dating 6.5 years and are SO-O-O happy we took our time. We are finally at a place in our lives where we feel ready to take to the next step. Enjoy every step, every stage, and every day of your YOUTH! You’ll miss these days one day. <3

@ArtDecoLisa:  What words of wisdom, Lisa. Thanks for sharing those to all of the other bees who may be feeling the same as Stranger516.

P.S. I met my SO while I was in Law School too! πŸ˜€ Maybe having the pressures and stresses of school, the Bar exam, and finding ultimate employment are enough to help us keep the other stuff in perspective and live for the moment while it lasts?  Anyway, congratulations on your engagement!

25, waiting for myself basically. I have a lot of goals I want fulfilled before I’m ready for marriage. I don’t want to start marriage with too much stress from school. My SO and I aren’t planning on having kids which definitely keeps the pressure off.

I am 21 and not yet engaged.
Just waiting for FI-to-be to propose, though we’ve agreed on a tentative date in 2015, by which time I will be 23 and he will be 24.

I’m in my ealy 30s and I’m engaged (for the first/only time). Not rushing the wedding or kids but plan for both hopefully before 40, lol!

I live my entire life at my own pace and I love it.
