To me, as long as its well trimmed and you can’t see through it bc it’s so thin, everyone should have the option regardless of age.

I think women chop their hair off at an older age just because they don’t want to fuss with it or deal with maintaining it. But a 60 year old woman could have long hair, as long as she wants it. There is no cutoff in my opinion.

If hair is healthy there isn’t a limit! I’ll probably start wearing mine shorter when/if it starts thinning.

So long as it’s well maintained, I don’t think it matters. I know there was no implication, but when I read the title, I assume you were talking about Men with long hair.

Well, I’m not sure if there’s an age limit, but if there is its closer to 70 than 33! You are definitely not too old for long hair!

I’ve never heard about an age limit for hair!!  Look at Demi Moore!

Who are these people telling you this?  Craziness!

Women of any age can wear long hair!  I say let it grow if you want to, but don’t feel like you have to do it now or it will be too late.  You can grow it out whenever you damn well please!

I’ve heard this rule. I think some women’s hair thins and then it looks pretty bad in a long, blunt cut, so that’s where it comes from.

If you have good hair though and it’s well maintained, I don’t see why you should have an age limit.

I always wondered why older women chop their hair. I think that’s a bit extreme. I just say do what looks good. While some old women look great with the long grey hair, others would look terrible and it would age them.

I really don’t think that there’s a limit. I know that I personally have never liked my hair short (and by that I mean at my shoulders, so some people consider that medium length), so for as long as I can handle dealing with it, I’m keeping my hair as long as it can be!
