Ours had just turned two, and she was supposed to carry a ribbon wand I made her, but she had a meltdown at the last minute and carried nothing! ๐Ÿ™‚

I had two flower girls, ages 7 and 5.  They carried cute purple baskets filled with ivory rose petals.

My flower girl is 6 and will be carrying a basket with rose petals that she will drop on the ground.   FI’s niece is 2.5 and I think SIL really wanted us to have her as Flower Girl but alas, we really wanted a slightly older child who will be reliable, yet still super adorable, so we went with my godchild instead.

Mine are my little cousins.  They’re sisters, ages 2 & 3.  They were flowergirls in their uncle’s wedding in November, so they should be pros ๐Ÿ™‚  They’re carrying these parasols:

I have two, one will be 5 the other will be 8. However I am rethinking and will probably have the oldest one carry the “Here Comes the Bride” sign instead.

I have two… The younger one will be almost 2 and she’ll be carrying a ribbon pomander.  The older one will be just over 4… I think she’ll be carrying a ribbon pomander that is “scooped out” so she can have petals in it to drop

@RSgrl1215: We can’t do petals at our church either – So we’re thinking to use fake petals for the older Flower Girl

My two flower girls will be 3.5 and 3.  They will carry silver paint cans decorated with flowers and ribbons.

I think the key to getting kids to walk down the aisle is to practice practice practice!  My daughter was 4 when she was in my sister’s wedding and anytime there was more than 4 people around we practiced walking down the aisle.  Worked like a charm!

So glad you asked this question, mine will be 10 (FI’s niece). Love the signs…we can’t drop petals so I’m looking for alternatives. Thanks!

Mine was 5, and she carried a basket filled with dahlias. Ours was the third wedding she’d been in (and was just in another one this past weekend! Busy girl!)

Ours will be my 20 yo daughter, who claimed that spot the minute I said yes. And I have no problem with this at all. She is going to have a bubble machine as she walks down.

Ours is 6 and she’s carrying a pomander of peonies, ranunculus and hydrangeas.

Our flower girl will be 3 weeks shy of 4 years old.  She’ll have a flower halo from the florist and a little basket with petals to throw.  ๐Ÿ™‚
