My Dad was 31 going on 32 and my mum was 28 going on 29. When we get married (2 days before their 30th anniversary!) Fiance will be 29 just (his birthday is 1 month and 1 day before the wedding) and I will be 28 going on 29, like my Mum!

We are 25/26 and my parents were 20/21.

I will be 26 and my fiance will be 30. I don’t know my parents exact ages, but I’m pretty sure they were about 23 (dad) and 28 (mum). So not that similar, as I’m marrying someone four years older and mum married someone five years younger!

I was 27 and my mum was 34… To be fair my mom was born in Hong Kong when it was still very normal to lie about age on legal documents to cheat death.. it was a thing.. I’m hazy on the details ngl but basically my mom says she doesn’t actually know what year she was born in but believes she’s a couple years younger than her documents state. 🤷 Still, she was older than I was.

we got married when we were 30, I think my parents were in their late 20’s. They had me when they were 36!!

We will *hopefully* both be 22 or 23.
My parents were 20 and 25, his parents were… 20 and 23 I think?

I got married 2 weeks before I turned 22, DH was 25. My mum and dad were both 36, although it was not my dad’s first marriage. My ILs were both 31.

My husband was 36 and I was (still am!) 33.
However my parents got married when my dad was 22 and my mom was 19 (though she turned 20 about a week later). Still married over 41 years later but yep, they were young!
Interestingly, my brother and his wife were married when they were 22. I guess I’m the odd ball! Haha.

Mom was 33, Dad was 34. 25 and 27 for me and Fi, respectively 🙂

We were 20 & 23 when we got married three years ago. My parents were 23 & 31 when they got married after being together for like a year, lol. When you know, you know 😉 Their wedding anniversary was yesterday, and they’ve been married 29 years. DH’s were 18 (mom) and I’m not sure how old his bio dad was. She’s been divorced and remarried a bunch of times at every age though. Not like there’s an age limit on happiness.

Parents were 21/22. We were 37/51! Very different!
However, my grandparents were married at 29/39 (old for back then) after both having previous broken engagements. I also had a broken engagement and if we’d gone through with it we’d have married at 25/26.
My other grandparents had a shotgun wedding at 18/19!

My parents were 23 (mom) and 22 (dad) when they got married. I was 42 and my husband 34. I can’t ever imagine getting married as young as they did and they probably can’t imagine getting married as old as I did.
