    We started trying the month after my 25th birthday, and are currently on month 4 of TTC. Hopefully, I’ll be 26 when I have my first kid, and I’m very happy with the age we started TTC at 🙂

    Looks like I’m the old lady of the group.  I always thought I’d be married with children in my late 20s. But life doesn’t always follow what we think. I was 35 when we started ttc. We have been trying 13 mths (mc in April)

    23, and yep I’m happy with that time. It seemed right because we are finally financially secure. I imagined I’d like to have my first child at 26, but looks like it  will be at 24 🙂

    We were 23 when we started TTC with DD. She’s 3 now and we’re TTC again. We’re both 27 now.

    @SimplyChic11:  Yay! A fellow youngin!!

    I’m turning 22 soon. I started early because I knew we would have fertility issues!

    My DH and I were both 34 when we started TTC last year.  It has been almost a year and we still have not been able to conceive, but we weren’t really trying super hard.  We now our focusing on getting healthy and hoping to get pregnant by the end of this year or next year.  I’ll be 35 in December.  I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to try for a child at a younger age, but I am scared of problems now that I am older.

    We’re TTC next month. I will be 30, and DH will be 32 (turning 33 on the 12th). We have an 8-year-old DD, but we never TTC with her.. she was a pleasant surprise. :]

    I started at 29 and pregnant at 29, and baby will be born at 30. I am happy with this age, it suits us emotionally, financially, career-wise and relationship-wise. The only count on which I’d say I would perhaps have preferred to start earlier is health, since I’m finding the toll of pregnancy is quite heavy, I’m v sick and tired and that might have been easier to bear on my 20s. For this reason I think we will try for #2 within a couple of years since we’d love 2 children.

    I was 25, it took a year and the baby will be born shortly before my 26th bday. We are married, own a home, reliable cas, good jobs, so for us we were ready. DH is also a little older and he was anxious to start trying.

    @ChuckNorris:  Same here! I’m 22, but knew that I would have problems. With my mother it took her eight years to get pregnant, and the last three years were from IVF. I’m hoping that it doesn’t come to that though! I can barely wait three months, let alone eight years!

    I was/am 33 and became pregnant on the first try.  We are expecting a little one in February.  I am very happy with the age I conceived at.  My husband and I both got to experience a lot before having children, we are financially secure, and we are both in the right mindset now.
