I’m 26, almost 27 now, and my Fiance is 30. We’re getting married June 2017 and we want at least one year before we start TTC. So right now the plan is to start TTC in Summer 2018 (when I’m 29/30 and my Fiance will be 32), although that may be pushed until Fall 2018 depending on when we take our vacation that year.

We got married last year when I was 33, DH was 32, and we decided to start trying right away because I wanted to have a baby before I turned 35. I got pregnant on our 2nd cycle of trying! DS was born this past spring (I’m now 34 years old).
We’re going to start TTC baby #2 in September of 2017, so I’ll be close to 36 by then. And, if everything goes to plan, I’d like to try TTC baby #3 when I’m 38/39. I thought at our ages, the most we could hope for is 2, maybe 3 children, but your success give me hope for more!

I started TTC when I was 30. I had two miscarriages from 30 to 32 and then became pregnant a third time (still 32) and so far so good. Good luck on your journey!

At the very earliest we will start TTC at the end of 2017 (financial reasons). I’ll be 35 and he’ll be 37.

We were both 33 when we started TTC. Got pregnant the second cycle and were both 34 when our little guy was born.

We got married this past January when we were both 33. We started TTC right away because we weren’t sure how long it would take. I got pregnant 5 cycles later and I’m due in February. I’ll be 34.
It’s really different for every person. Fertility is such a personal thing…there isn’t a magic age where you’re guarenteed to make a baby. I’ve known 24 year olds who’ve taken 3+ years to get pregnant and 42 year olds who’ve gotten pregnant at the drop of a hat. There really seems to be no rhyme or reason.

DH and I have been married since Sept ’15 and have been together for 7 years now. We wanted to wait till our 1 year anniversary to start TTC (which would put us at 23/24 yrs old) but since we recently purchased our first home we may push it and wait another year to TTC or atleast a couple more months in order to get situated and use to maintaining our home first. Ideally I would love t o start in September to have a summer baby and have maternity leave over the summer so If we have to wait till Sept. 17 it wouldnt kill me.

I’m 35 and DH is 44. We are trying now…no luck yet. But I’m keeping fingers crossed!

I’m 32 and DH is 41, and we just started trying. We’ve been together for 8-9 years and I still don’t really feel ready. His older brother just became a grandfather, I think that’s what finally pushed DH over the edge.

that’s very reassuring to me. I’m 39 this month and we’ve just got married and started ttc

We started trying when I was 32, against my intended plans three years on we’re still trying. Ideally I’d be in my late 20s, but that’s just not how it all worked out, for reference we got married when I was 30. Good luck to you!
