Our centerpieces were low bowls with hydrangeas in them.

We are just doing simple centerpieces. The venue includes them in the cost. They are crystal vases and candle/votive holder with white silk roses and the candles are supplied too. I couldn’t justify spending more money on the centerpeices when they are already supplied and go perfectly with the venue.

We did our own, flowers in a vase on doilies. There were a lot of flowers in them so the tables weren’t too empty, but the concept is obviously simple.

We are doing photo luminaries with family wedding photos.  They’ll have a candle in the middle, and the table number will be on a tall silver rod that sits in the middle with the candle.  Simple and cheap…just like us 🙂

The pictures aren’t great, but you get the idea.

We are doing a simple lace candle arrangement on each table.  Here’s my mock up.  It’s not the best quality pic – I took it with my cell phone.

Our centerpeices are simple. They are made of orchids and bamboo.

I dont know if our centerpieces are “ornate” but they arent minimal. Heres a mock up of the candle holders (that will have the good fake candles in them). Above them will be the wreath of flowers shown in the second pic.  The wreath will have some crystal strands hanging, like a chandelier.

Ignore all the different napkins under the chargers, we were playing around with the color combos…

Each table will have either a few floating candles with submerged flowers, or a low floral arrangement. I honestly don’t even know what the floral arrangements will look like – whatever my florist decides is fine by me.

We’re having a 12″ carriage lanterns in the middle surronded by a few small vases of different shapes filled with candles, votives and a few with flowers. There will also be three frames on each table. One will be of a cheesy line from FH, one with the photograph of the namesake of each table, and the last will be a short bio of them and if applicable their connection to our lives (ie I met Frankie Manning at his last workshop and we did the Frankie flip for our first show jam circle. )

Centerpieces can be simple but look ornate if they’re dense enough. I’m hoping to get that look with lots of candles and basic flower arrangements in vintage glass jars, probably no runners or extras. We’re having “banquet” style seating, so there will be pairs of 6′ tables to decorate.
