I voted uncommon but for my age group (mid 20s) my ring is among the uncommon. Halos halos everywhere!! I have a solitare and and love it! but my round center stone is very common. But in my close groups of married friends we all have a very different ring you can tell each of our personality in each ring!

I haven’t seen anyone with a Verragio ring in real life. Or a radiant cut. I share large side stones with my Future Sister-In-Law but I’ve only seen pave on anyone else’s ring. The most unique e-ring I’ve seen in my area is a cushion in a cushion halo.

Everyone I’m friends with has a princess or round solitaire. I only know one friend with a halo and she lives about 3 hours away from me. So, surprisingly, not many people in my area have the same ring style.

I have an emerald cut also. My mom has an emerald cut, and when I worked at the jewelry store, there was another salesperson there who had an emerald cut. I haven’t seen anyone else IRL that has one since I worked at the jewelry store, and that was five years ago.
I remember when I worked at the jewelry store, we only had about four emerald cut rings in the diamond counter. Most people wanted princess cut or round at that time.

I wouldn’t call the style of my ring “uncommon” (halo), however solitaires (single stone or cluster style, plain or diamonds on the band) and three stones still rule the scene where I am. Halos are very slowly becoming a thing here, but most woman I know have solitaires of some sort.

I guess my person taste for yellow gold is uncommon right now in my age bracket. (Im 23) most of the engaged or young married girls I know have white gold or platinum. People my mothers age (mid 50s) have more yellow. I’ve never to my knowledge seen anyone IRL with rose and if never by rose because I’m not a fan at all.
