I am working on printing wedding pictures, and stumbled on one that makes me so irritated. Background: I don’t like my uncle, he is extremely selfish, but my parents REALLY wanted all of them there, and I couldn’t figure out a gracious way to invite everyone but him, so alas, he was invited. Our table markers were beautiful (one of my BMs made them) and each had a letter that stood for something that was important to us. Also, I HATE Obama. (I respect other people’s views, but this is important to the story.)
One of the pictures has my uncle smiling, holding up our table marker, which he very clearly vandalized, changing “O is for [something very important to me]” to “O is for Obama, and our table was all smart enough to vote for him.”
I am not going to say anything to him, but I am SO mad that someone I didn’t even want there would then deliberately mess up our decorations with something I hate, and insult me while doing it!

That’s crappy, I wouldn’t print that picture.

booo on that. and your uncle sounds like a jacka$$.

WOW. that sucks. Vandalism at someone’s wedding….um, never appropriate.

Boo! What a jerk! I hope that was the only thing he did to mess up the wedding and that the rest of the day was beautiful!

Yeah, that was really inapproriate. I believe promoting your political agenda is never appropriate at large family gatherings, especially at weddings. I don’t know how tech-savy you are but you could always photoshop it. Photoshop makes everything better.

That would piss me off too. I felt like you were being the bigger person and extending the olive branch by inviting him to your wedding, and he deliberately ruined something at your wedding AND made sure it was caught on camera.
Sometimes it sucks to be proven right 🙁

I will say that you should be thankful that you didn’t see it on your wedding day, so you’re allowed to be pissed off in private instead of in front of all your guests!

I would print it and send it to him as a gift LOL.

Wow. What a jerk. If I were in your shoes, I would leave that picture unprinted.

OMG, I would be pi$$ed! Your wedding is not the place to voice his political opinions (especially since he knows that they differ from yours!)!
