Today my sister in law and I were out looking for bridesmaid dresses. We were looking for a partucular dress so we went in search of the dress. Not knowing exaclty where this particular store we were looking for was we decided to call the store and ask exactly where they were located. The lady who answered was super rude to my SIL but still we continued on. When we get there we are “greeted” by the same lady who was rude on the phone. We ask if they carry the dress we were after and she said yes she would look for it. We find the dress on display in the window (which was more like a porch really) about the same time she realized where the dress was. We ask to see the dress and she said we couldn’t go out on the porch due to insurance reasons. We were okay with this, so the lady goes out there and turns the dress around so we could look at it through the window. She never offered to bring it in so we could actually look at it or touch it. Thank god we didn’t want to try it on. Then she started to look for the price tag and I said it should be $116 and she said no this dress is $150. I said huh, well I found it online on a few sites and it was $116 both places. She then proceeded to tell me that those dresses were knock-offs and couldn’t possibly be the real thing. So at this point I am ready to go. So we leave, I wouldn’t buy a pack of gum from this place at this point. I don’t know how they stay in business if that is how they treat people. I have been treated like a queen at all the other stores, but not this place. I felt a little like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. LOL
If any of you reading this are Huntsville or Middle Tennessee brides let me know and I will send you the shop name in a private note so you can stay away from there.
On the plus side, I found my flower girl dresses today for $20, I could not be any happier!
