I would ditch the gloves and keep the sash.

Are you getting the rest of the dress altered as well? The chest portion looks like it should be taken in.

I wold add a necklace with a cool pendant! It would go well with the v neckline of your dress. I don’t really like the glove idea–but that’s just my opinion.

I’m undecided on the gloves. It looks like a lot of you is covered up right now, the gloves seem to be a bit much. Maybe it will look more balanced when you take the sleeves up?

Keep the gloves and ditch the sash. I think it’ll look much better that way. Or keep the sash instead of the gloves. I think both would be too much. I agree with @iluvmy67cuda, black converse will tie it together.

@iluvmy67cuda:  I would definitely get the bodice fixed to fit your body better because the chest area doesn’t look like it fits very well. I would agree with PP that you should either do the gloves instead of sash or just do the sash. I think the sash would look fantastic! 🙂

I would first have the bodice  and sleeves altered. There may be a seamstress/Tailor in town that is willing to make the necessary alterations. In my opinion, I prefer the sash to the gloves. I like the Red Converse and Sash Combo. All three seems a bit much. If you are really set on wearing the gloves, maybe you can do the gloves during your photos.

Without seeing it, it’s actually hard to say. Can you have it pinned temporarily to see what it would look like if you did a cap sleeve?

I actually love the sash and the gloves. I don’t think they’re too much. The dress is nice and simple so you can really add both accessories without going overboard. You look great!
