I am going to my future sister-in-laws bridal shower in 2 weeks.
Since it is a bridal shower for the bride, I don’t know how I should address the card since in actuallity the gift is for the two of them.
Should I write:
Dear Leah and Mike
Should I sign:
Love Nicole and Steve
Thanks, I have never been to a bridal shower before surprisingly so I don’t really know the etiquette or whether or not it even matters!

Even though the gift will likely be used by both of them, normally the gift is addressed to the bride as she is the one being showered. I sign my name as I was the one invited- not my SO.
I address the wedding gift to the two of them and sign the card from both of us.
In the end, I don’t think it really matters either way-how you address the card or how you sign the card.

My shower was earlier this month, and it seemed that everyone did it differently. I think most of my fiance’s family wrote the cards to both of us. Yes, the bride is being showered, but most gifts are for the couple, so I don’t think it would really be offensive either way. Do whatever feels right for you and your relationship with the couple 🙂
