@ajenkins55:  This is also my dress! I am getting side bustles. That’s what the seamstress called it. The train is picked up and bustled on both sides.

Also, are you getting this dress altered?

This is exciting! I am also wearing the same dress. But am unsure of bustle yet!

@PeeIBee:  Be sure to post some photos when you get yours done so we can see what it looks like 😉

What color did you ladies choose?

@PeeIBee:  I also got mine in Diamond White with Blush Accentss

Are you wearing a crinoline/Petticoat? I want to wear one and dye it pink but one that won’t poof it out too much. I tried one in the shop when I bought the dress and it gave it a nice flow but I don’t remember how many hoops it had, if any.

What are you doing with hair and accessories and what color veil are you goin gfor?

@BigFatGreekWedding:  I’m not wearing crinoline. I did try it on with one though, but I wanted a more fitted silohette vs. the pouf. However, it did look nice with the crinoline. Oooh, pink-dyed sounds nice!

I will wear a drop veil with a really simple/no poof hairstyle: http://www.weddingbee.com/2006/11/20/at-the-drop-of-aveil/. A drop veil, because all the other ones that I tried on that had poof or with a comb just didn’t seem to be me. The dress is already so ornate, that I think all accessories will be simple…Which leaves the jewelry. I still don’t know what jewelry I will wear. What are you wearing?

@PeeIBee:  I have also not chosen any jewelry. Really unsure about it. But I agree that it will be something simple.

I think I want an elbow length veil in ivory, probably 1 tier with maybe a few scattered crystals/diamanted. I am trying to decide on that this week but am ordering a lot online so its hard to decide as I can’t really try on. I will let you know when I pick one.

For the reception I will switch into a birdcage.

How are you wearing your hair?

@PeeIBee:  I love those hair styles. Very elegant and classy.

I have not decided on jewelry yet although I am leaning towards not wearing a necklace. Maybe some drop earings or studs depending on how I decide to do my hair. I am hoping to find something this week.

I tried on my dress again today as  I purchased a birdcage. I am wearing a few different unmatching pieces of jewelry as I wanted to see what they looked like. The necklace is just a simple pendant and the earings are pearls. Maybe that will give you an idea??

I am wearing a crinoline with a hoop in this last photo but it didn’t look good so just ignore the way it flows out like that.

@BigFatGreekWedding:  Aww, you are going to be a beautiful bride! I love that veil on you!

I think I’ve decided to wear just earrings too and a bracelet. I was trying to decide between diamonds…well, crystals or pearls, and I think I’ll go with drop or chandelier earrings like one of the ones below:

My dress is getting altered. I’ll try to remember to take pictures at the next fitting.

I wrote a response to this yesterday, but it never posted. *sigh*

I think that you’re going to be an adorable bride. I love the birdcage. I’m with you on the no necklace thing. I ordered some chandelier earrings from Etsy yesterday.

Thanks for posting pics! I’ll try to remember to take pictures when I go to my next fitting…especially of the bustle.
