So I purchased linear pocketfolds from Paper Source, but apparently I didn’t pay enough attention to the description. I thought they would open horizontally, and that the flap would be a full 5×7 inches. Instead, they open vertically and the flap only comes halfway down the front, so it’s maybe 4×5. I had been planning to use the back of the flap to mount my invitation. Clearly, that’s not going to work. We have a design that’s going on the front of the flap (the first thing you see). Would it work to just print the invitation on the back of the flap? Bear in mind that will also force it to be TINY.

hmmm .. I THINK I’m following you. I would say that the most important detail of any invitation is the information about the day, making it small may lose some of the info.
What type of design were you thinking of doing?

Yeah, it’s hard to explain without physically showing lol. The actual invitation will be pretty simple, just two birds carrying a banner then the text under that. In the pocket will be two info cards (reception and accommodations/directions) plus the reply card and envelope. The other idea I was considering was to print the actual invitations on the full 5×7 card as I had planned, then just stick that in the front of the pocket folder, before the other cards.
