Mine couldn’t be more different.  Here’s the magazine photo dress that I had my heart set on.  I was OBSESSED with this dress and when I got to try it on, I was so excited…and then disappointed because it did NOTHING for me.  But, I did see it on another bride on here and she looked amazing, so it just depends on the girl.

Here is my dress that I ended up with.  Completely different!

This was my dream dress – but I was pretty sure it was out of our budget, and that my pesky love handles wouldn’t fare so well in it, so I didn’t even tease myself by trying it on. It’s so sweet and romantic though, and the sash is just…wow.

Then, I honestly thought Lasara ‘the one’, the detailing is so lovely, but the waist just wasn’t flattering on me – even though I really wanted it to be – haha. I still adore it, but I’m glad I didn’t impulsively buy it.

Here’s my dress! Not that different, style-wise,  but it’s definitely not a dress I would’ve ever thought I would buy. I stalked the Watters like a crazy person before my appt. and barely looked twice at this dress – but I’m so glad I that I ended up trying it on.

It’s pretty flat and wrinkled since they had just gotten it in, but here it is on the model:

@Pand0ra:  Aww thank you!!  I haven’t met many people who have seen that Anne Barge dress so that’s funny that you loved it, too.  It really is beautiful on the right person…which wasn’t me. 😉  I still have a little dress anxiety sometimes because I really saw myself in an A-line or ball gown, but I feel more beautiful in my dress than I did in any of the others so that’s got to count for something! Smile

@mrs-j-to-be:  Funny – I stalked Watters before I went dress shopping and never looked twice at mine either….but it’s what I ended up with!  Your dress is absolutely beautiful.  So unique.

@hardtoconcentrate:  Thank you! Yours is a stunner. My step-sister actually wore that dress and she looked so, so amazing on her wedding day.

This is what happens when your fiance says he HATES the idea of not wearing a white dress.
