I would wear it for a few days before you decide.  Mine is loose and moves around in cooler weather.  Quite tight on days that are hot and humid.

im having the same problem. except i have more of a knuckle problem. it goes just right through my knuckle but is loose and moves around on my finger. i guess as long as it doesnt fall off easily, you’re good! unless you think a smaller size will feel more comfortable. its really up to you. just remember you shouldnt make it too tight because like maggie mae mentioned, sometimes our fingers tend to swell up a little as the weather changes. you dont want it to be too small!

Ideally, it should be tight enough that it requires a little work to get over the knuckle.  Mine was a little lose and it rotated really easily, so I had it tightened so it won’t do that anymore.  Now it is a little tough to get off when it is very hot out but I would rather have that.

For me, my rings are tighter when it is humid and looser when it is cold.  It sounds like you might be able tog o down a bit.  Did your Fiance get the ring from a jeweler?  They might be able to size it down for free.  I did mine at a mall kiosk and it only took about an hour.

I would wait to see for a while to see how you like it. My ring fits just like yours and I love it. This way I dont have to worry about bloating because of my period and tempertature. This way its comfortable all year round 🙂

have you tried on a size 6 yet? how about you try one on and see how it feels? you may be able to make a decision then. mine is a size 4.5 and i thought a size 4 would be better, but when i went to try it on it didnt go through my knuckle. as far as price, mine is free resizing forlife, and it takes about 2 weeks to get done (its from Kay). i guess it all depends on where you go!

Haha, I totally read the title of this as “How is your Snuggie supposed to fit?” when I first looked at it!

Go in and try on the ring sizer and see if the others feel more comfortable to you.  Then you can decide on whether or not you should get it sized.  Borrowing jewellery sounds awesome, you are lucky!

Mine was kind of loose and it’s definitely affected by the weather, but once I got my two wedding bands, it fits a lot tighter–also something to consider.  The wider the band(s) the tighter it will fit.

Definitely wear it a while before resizing it, my fingers fluctuate in size throughout the day, and from day to day.  To me it sounds like yours might be a little loose, given that it rotates freely and you have no trouble pulling it off, so I would suggest going to a jeweler and trying on rings in smaller sizes before you get it sized down.  It would be a waste to have it sized down a quarter of a size only to realize you need it sized down even more!
