We started right after the wedding, but it is taking us a while … 11 months of trying thus far.

We started trying about 3 months after our wedding.  It took 10 months to get pregnant.

Wedding night!  It was hard to wait that long, but I didn’t want to deal with being pregnant on our wedding day.

    I’m doing the 2WW now…

Complete oppisite. We started trying before we got married. We had been together for 3 years & 7 months plus had been living together for 4 months at the time we started trying. We got pregnant about a month before the wedding (and took us 4 months of trying) & didn’t know until 6 days after the wedding! But we lost the baby. 🙁 We don’t plan on trying again for about 2-3 years maybe longer! Due to the miscarriage & my diabetes. Even on our wedding day I went to the bathroom a few times to check to make sure aunt flow wasn’t a guest at the wedding also. Hubby & my mom kept saying I was pregnant but I didn’t believe them until I was over a week late.

Because of my education/ career, it will be 3-5 years before we try to have kids.  I project that we will be 28-30 years old.

I voted, but not married yet. We’ll start trying for my 3rd, his first after the wedding. We’re both in our 30’s and would like to have one together before my expiration date comes 🙂

One month after the wedding for this baby.  But with my ex-husband, we waited 5 years before having our daughter.

We plan on trying to get her pregnant a year to 2 years after the wedding. Mainly just so she can finish school and get a job with what she is going for. As for me hopefully I get a job for what I went for as well. 🙂

We’re not married just yet (19 days! Yikes) but we’re planning to wait 2-4 years.

I’m only 24, and while I love children, I don’t feel ready for them at this point in my life. Too much is up in the air-

Fiance finding a full time job (architecture jobs are slim in our area right now), knowing where in the country we’ll be living as a result of finding said full time job, looming student loan payments, saving enough money to AFFORD a child (or at least the first years worth of baby clothes!)…. all these things have to work themselves out first.

Not only that, but I’ve said for years that I didn’t want to start having kids until I was AT LEAST 25. Now that I’m only a year away from that, I feel more and more comfortable with pushing that back to 26 or 27.

Well, we already have a child. In Norway it’s much more common to have children before you marry.

But my child is almost 2,5 years old now and I want to try for the next one soon, but I need to get a job first so we’ll se. I’m graduating from college this summer, so hopefully I’ll get a job soon.

We don’t plan to TTC until about 4 years after the wedding (aka about 3 years from now).  We wanted to wait until we reached a point where Darling Husband had been promoted through his company and was making enough that we could comfortably have me leave my job and be a Stay-At-Home Mom.
