MemberOriginally we were going to start right away. But, we have decided to hold off at least until the honeymoon in september or maybe up to another year to give us time to finish our house renovations, do some travelling, pay off some debt and hopefully buy a house and sell our townhouse.

MemberWe’re both young, so we would like to wait until 4-5 years, depending on where we’re at financially, and geographically.
I do not want to have kids until I have no more debt (only have 20,000 so it should be doable) we have a house, and have been settled long enough to get benefits and mat leave. Idealistic perhaps, but here’s hoping!
MemberMemberWe will probably wait a couple years. I have a feeling we’ll probably be moving to a new city in a year or two if Fiance doesn’t get a promotion with his current company, and I’d like to be a little bit settled somewhere before we start trying. Fiance (and his parents!) are probably ready now, but I’m only 25 and I’d like a little more “us” time before we have a baby.
MemberWe’re trying this fall around 2 years of marriage. I didn’t want to rush into kids and enjoy our lives. I’m glad that we did too.
MemberWe got married in June and started trying in January. We figured it’d take some time to fall pregnant, but crazy enough by Feb I got a BFP.
MemberGetting married in September and will start TTC right away. i think we should just stop being careful now, what are the odds it would happen THAT fast right? BUT I don’t want to be preggers for my bachelorette or wedding day I suppose 🙂
