i wouldn’t stress over the weight too much. i think the goal is to be healthy and feel good, and set yourself up for a lifetime of healthy living. from a logistical perspective i would say that once you have your last fitting you don’t want to change your weight too much or you’ll have trouble with the dress.

If you’re losing weight, I would say to start moving into maintenance mode about a month before your first fitting. That way, you’ll have figured out what you need to do to stay where you are and can hopefully continue those actions until the wedding (helps avoid lots of alterations costs).

I agree with the first fitting.  I made my goal to be ready for the dress shopping and worked out.  Maintaining it is tough though.  I would say 2 months is good but it sure goes fast.  Good Luck, I know it’s hard.

I think you might be okay to lose a little weight after your first fitting if it is early enough but you should try to stay steady for the last few weeks so you don’t need last minute alterations.
