So we got our epics taken on Sunday, ended shooting at 1:40 p.m. (yes I remember the time lol). It is Wednesday…is it too early to email the photographer and ask when they will be ready? He isn’t supposed to do any editing b/c Fiance said he would do that. I got the impression all the photographer had to do was upload them and send us the link. Any nice email wording I could use to let him know I would like them back asap? I need to do my STD’s and get my wedding website up! Grr. I’m so impatient!

I’d wait until maybe Friday. He may have had other appointments scheduled before and after. So he may not have had time to upload ’em due to editing other couples pictures or shooting others.

I would probably wait a few more days then e-mail the photographer and say something like…
I just wanted to follow up regarding the engagement pictures that you took for us on Sunday. We are very excited to see how they turned out! When can we expect to be able to see them?
It’s possible he may have forgot to upload them, so you may have luck without sending an e-mail saying “I need this NOW, why aren’t they here, etc.” If you are planning on using him to shoot wedding pictures, you may want to have the timeline when you will be able to see them online written in the contract. Good luck!

I’d wait until Friday. You don’t know how busy he is and he could well have had to go off and do another shoot or be getting ready to shoot a wedding Out of Town this weekend. Shoot him off a friendly email on Friday and then give him a few days to respond 🙂

Ah thank you Bees, I needed that! I forgot for a second how tired I am when I get home from work, photography is a SIDE job for him so he works ALL day then goes home and does photography stuff. I’ll wait until next Monday to inquire.

I would say it all depends on when he said he would get them to you..our photog said she would have a sneak peek up the following Monday (e-pics on Sat.), but it ended up taking her a little more time then expected. If your photographer said he would have something for you by a certain time and he hasn’t I would suggest e-mailing if not I would think waiting wouldn’t hurt.
