(Closed) how soon is too soon for the website???

@ms.oregon.state: Are you going to send out a notification about it? Or just make it so it’s up on the web so if people go looking for it they can find it?

I think just putting it out there on the web is fine, I don’t know that I’d sent out an announcement about it yet though.

We sent out our website as part of our engagement party invites 7 months before the wedding (it was then also on our save the dates and wedding details card).

@ms.oregon.state: That sounds fine. That way you can continue to keep it updated.

Also, I’d start a small registry and put that on there. Some people coming to the engagement party may ask for a registry.

I did not expect gifts at my engagement party, but some people went on my registry and bought gifts.

I put mine out in my Save-The-Date Cards too :). I think it’s completely fine! I just had a note under the FAQs about when we would register: ie, early June, and then mentioned the information would be available on the site when it happened.

I would post it now, And ya you can always update it, It gives people alot of time to check it out!
