(Closed) How soon is TOO soon to follow up with the photographer?

snowflake8: did he know how long your honeymoon would be? Most photogs told me that photos would be available 4-8 weeks after the wedding.

I’d ping him on Tuesday and let him know you haven’t see the package yet.

What does your contract say? I’d likely give him another week, in case something is going on with the post office. If nothing by then, I’d be calling to check in.

snowflake8:  I think it’s way too soon. Most of the time puctures can take 4-8 weeks as PP said. I got married on the 12th and still haven’t followed up with the photog yet and probably won’t until the 1 month mark just to check in to see the status and where she is with things. I know you’re eager but they also usually have a lot to do.  My photog has been at 2 weddings every weekend for the whole season so that’s a lot of pictures to edit and get back to people so it usually takes a few weeks.
