Hey Ladies!!
I am curious on how soon after my missed period I would show positive on a HPT? Me and my husband haven’t been actually TTC but not avoiding it either (I told him I do not want to TTC because it would stress me out waiting if it didn’t happen and just wanted it to happen in its own time). Anyways, I have been tracking my period on an app on my phone just because mine is SO all over the place, and since I started tracking in November its been pretty darn accurate. SO… right now I am around 1-2 days late… But my breasts have been SO unbelieveably tender for a few days and hurt when I am not wearing a bra. This happens a bit typically right before I start, but not usually other than that. I am kind of freaking out and wanting to take a test to see, but wasn’t sure if anything would show yet? Any idea how soon after missing it would show? Thanks!!

If your period is late, then a HPT would be accurate.

Some tests can be taken 5 days before your missed period. So, you’re in the clear to get an answer.

I think they are positive 2-3 days after implantation occurs, when there is enough hcg to detect. That would usually occur just before your missed period. If your period is late you should either get a + pregnancy test or your period. And if you have neither one of those you probably ovulated later and your period isn’t actually late yet. Take a test.

Now I really want to go get a test because it is killing me not knowing. :/ But either way I wouldnt want to tell my husband on the phone!! lol

insignia: kalinicole: kes18: Well ladies I went to Meijer at lunch, and the double lines confirmed… IM PREGNANT!!! Holy cow.. I am stuck at work freaking out right now!!! I did however put a little set up together to surprise the husband when he walks in the garage when he gets home!! I HAD to call my best friend!! haha, I HAD to tell someone!! Thanks ladies for your help… Now I need to figure out the next step!! lol

Mrs_JB: congrats! Haha…I took my first + pregnancy test at work (in the bathroom over lunch) as well
I was dying the rest of the day and didn’t get any work done.
