Just curious how of superstitious we all are.I caught wind from a friend because she herd that my fiance saw my dress and told me the world was pretty much going to end!! She suggested i buy a new dress right away and budget wise its just not possible.
I just don’t get it. In my many trips to DB i myself wittnessed finaces and soon to be husbands perched upon the couchs front stage helping the soon to be bride pick a perfect dress. Brides that walk out the door with the dress that their soon to be husbands picked.
I myself am not a <span class="ital-inline">superstitious person. I do how ever believe in the element of surprise but thats to my extent. I do not believe you marriage would be doomed if you SO sees your dress let alone you in it. Its pretty much comes down to the person you love. He has seen you in your street clothes a million times and you have been together for how many yrs. Whats the difference besides a new article of clothing? No its not a debate i just wanted to see what you girls thought. We all have our own opnions right?

I’m not superstitious, but I wanted my Fiance to be really surprised and wowed by ny new white dress. Not to mention, he HATES to shop and this would be no exception.
My dress is hanging in a downstairs bedroom, and when i had the flu i sent him down there to get something and HE flipped out, going ‘omg your dress is there, no!’ so i guess he wants to wait, too. He has seen my shoes, though. I just like the surprise factor.

I am not superstitious at all. 🙂 We are planning pre- ceremony photos so he will be seeing me in my dress before our ceremony takes place.
I think It will be nice to spend some one on one time together getting photos taken before the ceremony – i get the feeling once the wedding begins it will be a busy (but fun) night mingling with guests.

I’m not going to say that I’m "not superstitious", but I’m not wanting my Fiance to see my dress on me or on the rack until I walk down the aisle. I’m like you girls. I’d like the elment of surprise, and want him to be wowed too.
But he wants to wait too. I’ve even offered to show him a picture of the dress on a model. He says "no". So I guess we’re waiting until I walk down the aisle.
I’m going to focus between his eyes when we’re up there saying our vows, cause I know that he will get teary eyed. lol

I am superstitous but not on this topic.
Fi saw my dress and we took pic’s before the wedding.. nothing has happened and actually we were blessed a few weeks after the honeymoon when I found out I was pregnant after thinking I would have a lot of trouble in that department (have med probs)
freaking out is a waste of energy
