I REALLY do not need china, etc. I have already culled through everything I own and, honestly, I can’t add anything more to my Macy’s or BB&B registry. I just can’t. And there are only 28 items on these registries combined (185 people are invited to my wedding). I do however need a couple of things at home depot. I am having a pretty swanky, expensive wedding- would a home depot registry “cheapen” my wedding?

Not tacky at all. We did one!

I don’t think it’s tacky at all! I think it’s practical and I love buying practical gift for people.

I’ve seen it before, and if that is where you need stuff, that is where you should register!

I don’t think it’s at all tacky. Go for it!

Go For it!I wish I had thought of it to be honest! From my experience, I received alot of gift cards from the places I registered at. So maybe you would receive HD gift cards as well that you could put towards home renos!! Love the idea as there is only so much china and linens you need!

I’d rather buy a drill that will be used than a vase that will sit and collect dust!

Love it! I’d much rather get someone something they actually need as opposed to another vase that will sit in its box for months.

Go for it! I wish I knew that such an option existed. Swankers can rock home depot 😉

A friend just did the macy’s bb&b and home depot gift cards as an extra for their house stuff..

We’re having a pretty posh event and I do believe we’ll be attempting to register at Menards. Thats right, Menards.
Save big money…. at Menards.
We’re (okay he) big on home improvement and already have tons of shit. I’m still registering for some things at Crate & Barrel, but whatevs.

My brother and sister in law did it and they actually got quite a few gifts and gift cards from it, and their wedding was VERY high end…I mean $150 a plate, pianists…the works. Go for it!

I don’t think it’s tacky at all! I’m sure your guests would prefer to buy you a gift you actually need and will use anyways!
