We aren’t doing floral candelabras, but rather traditional candle candelabras. They are 32″ tall without the candles in them. Have you asked your florist if they rent those types of floral candelabras? Usually florists provide those and arrange the flowers in/on them(with a rental charge, of course). If they don’t have them then check wedding rental companies in your area – they usually have them.

@SR:  I’m doing something like this:

My tallest vase is going to be 32″. My thoughts would be you wouldn’t want to go TOO much taller than that since they could become difficult to move and especially with the slimmer base of the candlestick, maybe a risk of toppling?

My tallest vase is 28″. It’s a hurricane vase that will be topped with the arrangements from the ceremony.

@SR– I’m doing a vintage theme too! I think you could make the effie tower vases work. When I googled them I only saw them in white, clear or black – all of which I think are too modern looking. However, if I were you I would paint them! We are painting our candelabras because they are a shiny white that looks too modern to me. A close friend of mine is a wedding designer/former florist and she is the one that suggested that I spray paint them – she says she does it ALL the time, literally every week for a different event. You could do silver or maybe a mercury glass effect. Both of these would look “vintagey” in my opinion and would be pretty with white & ivory. You could even do gold (you’d have to pick a good shade of it…) or rose gold if you want something warmer.

My friend said that there is a certain brand of spray paint that works best for things like this and offers the best shades of metallics. If you are interested in the idea I can ask her what it is. We haven’t begun doing ours yet so I don’t know the name off of the top of my head.

My centerpieces ar a 24 inch tall vase and then a nother 8-9 inch pomander on top. Pretty tall! But they are not view obstructing as the vases are eiffel tower vases.

We had 19″ vases with a lampshades on top.  Maybe another 6-9 inches on top of that?

Check saveoncrafts.com for those candlelabras.  They seem to have everything!
