We have two of them.  A 7′ one we haven’t put up since 2007 because the dogs keep messing with it and a 4′ one that we use every year on top of our dining room table.

7′.  I can’t put a tree topper on it because it doesn’t fit.  Hahaha.  I bought it last year on Black Friday.  It was 50% off so I was stoked!  DH was like “you bought one of the tallest trees for a standard ceiling in an apartment..”  Oh well!!

We have a tiny one right now (3′) because we have no room for a bigger one in our apartment.

We haven’t gotten our tree yet; we always get a live tree and are planning to get a Frazier fir this weekend.

Our house is small (1,400 sq feet) with vaulted ceilings but we still usually get a tree around 5-6′ tall.  By the time we get it in the stand and put the star on top it reaches the low part of the ceiling.

If we put it in a different location we could get 12-14′ (done that before) but it’s such a pain to decorate when it’s that tall, lol.

In my apartment I have a little tree up. Maybe 4 foot?

At my parents’ house, we put up huge trees. They have a two story house with a loft, so the living room walls goes up that full two stories. We usually get a 13 footer. And we buy it just a few days before Christmas so we get a good deal on it since they have a hard time selling ones that big.

    7 ft. in our townhome.

My nutty husband likes to put trees up in all our homes (we both own 2, one main, one weekend, but my main home may get an offer tomorrow).   This year we didn’t because of way too many things going on.  so we have a small lighted Christmas tree that is our “travelling” tree and it goes with us to the other houses…

Yes, I knew he liked to do this before we married…kind of quirky and fun.

Ours is a 6 1/2 feet tall tree because we live in an older house and with the tree topper, that’s as high as we can go! My Brother-In-Law & SIL moved into a new house the same time we did and they went from the same kind of house that we are in now to a new build with 12 foot ceilings and they haven’t bought a new tree yet! It drives me nuts, if I had their ceilings, 10 foot trees all over!!!!

We have a 7 foot tree and 9 foot ceilings. It’s all good. I love big trees.

For the past four years, we’ve had a dinky-looking little 6’er, but since this is our first Christmas in our new house, we bought a 9.5′ tree for our 11′ ceilings! I had to use a ladder to decorate it, but it looks great and I LOVE it!

@Natakie16:  lol @ “10 foot trees all over!” I’m not one for decorating, but I’d probably do the same thing. Empty corner? Christmas tree!

Our living room has cathedral ceilings and so I’m obsessed with getting the tallest tree we can load onto my SUV. Last year our tree was 9 feet tall and massive in diameter, it was perfect.

I have a 4 foot. But that is because I live in a third floor apartment and I wasn’t carrying anything bigger up the stairs.
