At the beginning of the year one of my over-acheiver co-workers decided to make a list where everyone could put their birthday’s down on a list and then she would take the list home and since she was the “birthday planning committee” would get cards for people’s birthdays and we would secretly sign them. She also makes everyone’s favorite desert and brings enough so everyone can have some. For our bosses birthday she baked her a three layer chocolate cake with raspberry filling and “Happy Birthday Dawn!!” in colored icing on the top. It was delicious!!
My coworker’s birthday is this weekend and I know she really likes chocolate chip cookies. Someone got her a card and we all signed it and I was thinking of getting the stuff to make her cookies for her birthday. BUTTT, on my way home today I was thinking how I could just get a package of Matt’s chocolate chip cookies (the best kind there are!!) and take them out of the package and put them in another bag so maybe it looks like I made them?! And then just get one for the store too?
Or is this awful!! I’m conflicted because I feel like I would be spending a lot of money and time baking them myself but I really want to show off my delicious chocolate chip cookies.
