This is probably a dumb question, but when I’ve been looking at ceremony photos, there is alot of stuff on or running down the aisle such as rose petals and/or candles running along the edge. So my question is, as guest are being seated, do they just walk on all this stuff as well? I don’t want a candle getting knocked over or anything. Does anyone have suggestions on how to work this?
Lemme know! :o)

If you plan on having that much decoration lining the center aisle, then you might have your guests enter their seats from the side aisles. I would suggest having two ushers to direct people to enter from the sides to avoid mishap.
I’m not having that much decoration at my ceremony, so I don’t have to worry about it. 🙂

I’ve seen some that have the aisle marked off by ribbon either across the top of the aisle, or running lengthwise from row to row so no one can get into the seats from the aisle. I guess guests are just supposed to walk around the outside…

We had pew bows to mark the aisle, and gold satin sashes around each seat in the front row, to suggest where people should sit. I really didn’t see a lot of point in putting things in the aisle.
