I think my e-ring fits perfectly: It’s never fallen off, I can always get it off without trouble if my finger is at the correct angle. But it always slides around, the cute little accent diamonds are so small it’s practically a solitaire, and the feature diamond is about 3/4 ct. I’m assuming this is just how it it is, but I thought I’d ask.
So how well does your engagement ring and/or wedding ring fit?
Does it slide around much?
And this isn’t totally related, but do you wear it while you’re sleeping?

@ladyamalthea: Mine does not spin, but it’s summer and humid and my fingers swell. I do not wear it when I sleep. 🙂

Mine is slightly too big – its sized as small as it can get without riskiing diamonds popping. I actually have to change fingers when having a shower. My wedding & eternity rings are slightly smaller to ‘pin’ it on!

My e-right is one full size too big but our jeweler didn’t think he should resize it. So I got 2 bands to encase the ring an hold it into place. It still slide around a lot though.

Mine is perfect now. When I went on holiday and my fingers swelled in the heat (and I had gained a little weight) it was almost impossible to get off!

I’ve had mine resized twice – and it’s down to a 3.25. It still spins when my circulation is poor or when I’m cold, but it never falls off.

Mine flies off if I shake my hands too much – AKA too big 🙂

I like my rings snug. So they never slide. They are not so tight that the heat bothers me. They slightly slide during the winter. My e-ring is a size 5.5 and wedding band is a 5. The jeweler suggested a smaller wedding band size since i dont want to soder or have them scratch each other, and it fits great. yes i sleep with them on.

My ring fits exactly how I want it fit tight but not too tight I like to able to just take off not pull it off. It does slide to the side but I don’t mind it.

Mine is a little snug, but it’s summer right now (hot and humid). In the winter it was either a little too loose or perfect. I’m slightly worried about how it will fit with a wedding band in the summer, but I don’t want to get it sized up or it will be too loose in the winter (which, in Ontario, sometimes feels like half the year… haha).

Mine is a little loose. It spins a bit but if I sleep in it, it’s like it’s cutting off my finger lol so no, I don’t sleep in mine for that reason.

Mine is maybe slightly too loose right now – it won’t slip off but it does spin. I can take it off with a moderate amount of effort. In summer fits doesn’t spin and it fits on my finger very nicely but it’s really difficult to get off – I need to use soap to lubricate it otherwise it will not come off. I have a size 4.25 finger, but I think my knuckles are on the big side, my fingers are slim and slightly bony. Overall I think Fiance got it just right – I didn’t need to get it resized. This was really lucky because it was pure guesswork (with a bit of help from his sister).
I do sleep with it – I find it perfectly comfortable and I don’t want to take it off! But it helps that it’s a very simple low set solitaire.

Originally Reeds said that I was a 6 1/2 but when I got my ring I noticed that it spun like crazy and wasn’t very snug. I tried to call Reeds to have it sized but they never responded to my calls. I got ticked n’ took it to a private jewler. He said I was actualy a 5 3/4 and I could probably go smaller than that!!!!!!1 I’m not sure how Reeds manged to screw up my ring so much. I weighed more than I did at the original fitting in January.
Right now it doesnt spin around too much but its been 90 and wicked humid. I don’t wear it in the shower cause I think it could come off. I don’t feel like my finger is swollen or uncomfortable so thats good. I’m not sure how it will feel in the winter. I guess it will spin more.

My e-ring used to spin around but I had it re-sized so now it’s a bit tight. However, it’s hot and humid out so I think it will loosen up in cooler weather. My wedding band spins around, it’s really annoying but I haven’t wanted to part with it yet to get it re-sized. No, I don’t wear mine to bed.

My ring is about a quarter size too big. Depending on temperature and swelling, it varies between being completely loose and spinning like crazy, or fitting perfectly. Generally, it fits decently, with a little bit of movement, side to side.
I do wear mine to sleep, even though it’s not recommended.
