maybe on this cover, yes. but the 60’s was the beginning of twiggy, and women had plenty of body issues. I mean, they were expected to wear foundation garments and pantyhose most of the time beginning in high school! it was still considered ideal to have a teeny waist. 

also, if they had photoshop back then, they would have edited that model, I’m sure of it. 

but I agree, I think she looks gorgeous and I wish more models looked like her.

Wish I looked like her NOW lol

A bigger difference than just what her body looks like is how she’s posed. She looks sweet and is just casually strolling down the beach in a bathing suit – she actually looks really approachable. She isn’t posed with her legs spread about and her chest pushed out with a seductive look on her face like she’s about to do something completely indecent. Plus, she’s actually wearing a bathing suit, as opposed to looking almost naked.
