We are having our engagement pics done in a week and a half. I have this dress:
Not sure what jewelry to wear. I was thinking a beaded necklace in a fun color. Kelly Green Green? Red? and maybe flat sandals. Also considering a cardigan, in case it’s cool. (We’re starting pretty early in the day)
Anyone have any thoughts?

Cute dress! I have heard that you should keep the jewelry relatively simple- one or two pieces or one “statement piece.” Sorry I’mnot much help 🙁

I LOVE the dress and agree sandles like the ones she has on work pretty perfectly with it. As for jewelry, I’d keep that casual as well. Save the bling for the big day!

I think you could possibly bring a couple of pieces of jewelry and maybe have some shots taken with a bright, funky necklace and some without. 🙂

Cute dress! Love the cardigan and sandals idea. I would keep the jewelry as simple as possible. If you want to do a funkier piece of jewelry I’d do some fun earrings instead of a necklace. I’d be afraid too bold of a necklace would make the top area of your body too busy with a loud necklace plus the flower on the dress.

Great – thanks everyone! After reading these, I think I’ll probably just do some round stud earings and a fun bracelet.

Suuuper cute dress!
I am a big fan of gold and purple. In photography class, they told us about contrasting colors, and those colors contrast and compliment each other well. Not sure how you fee about gold though. But a nice pair of gold sandals or heels with a gold necklace would look adorable.
Or maybe a flower in your hair with a simple string of pearls? Also, play up the pink make-up. Either way, LOVE the dress, and you won’t technically NEED to accessorize a lot–the dress does it all. 🙂

Cute dress. I am recommending small beaded bracelets – either in red or turquiose.

I think the dress is very pretty and has a lot of ‘decoration’ going on. I’d keep the jewelry quite light and simple. Small, thin necklace but maybe bigger earrings if you are going to wear your hair up.
If you don’t mind wearing heels, I’d suggest that. Having the “lift” of heels really gives the calves a lot of shape.
