@Daelynn:  Obviously I don’t know what your budget is for your invites, but you can use other websites to build up your invitation like Vistaprint. That way they at least already have it set up in the proper size and everything and you can add in your own images and customize it. Then you can just order it from them instead of worrying with printing everything yourself.

@Daelynn:  Do you have Microsoft Publisher on your computer as well? That had lots of clip art on it which included some flourishes. Or just try regular clip art in Word, you may be able to find single flourishes in there.

What I did was get a friend who had photoshop to get me an image I wanted – I sent her the vector with 6 images on it and she used photoshop to ‘cut out’ the one I wanted. Know anyone with photoshop that can help you out? It took her all of 2 minutes to do it for me.

Maybe you could use a font that has swirls or flourishes? That way you can re-size, re-color etc. to get it exactly how you want.

Here are some that are nice:

Bergamot Ornaments (FREE) – http://www.dafont.com/bergamot-ornaments.font

Melany Lane Script (this is on sale for $17 but looks like it has TONS of stuff!) – http://www.mightydeals.com/deal/melany-lane-font.html?ref=fontsquirrelmelany

Nymphette (FREE) – http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Nymphette?filter%5Btags%5D%5B%5D=Elegant&filter%5Btags%5D%5B%5D=decorative&filter%5Bfamily_size%5D=1&filter%5Bdownload%5D=all&sort=a2z

Swinging (FREE) – http://www.dafont.com/swinging.font

WM Designs 1 (FREE) – http://www.dafont.com/wm-designs-1.font

Good luck! 🙂

Post pictures of the finished product!

Which one did you install, Bergamot Ornaments?

It should be in the drop-down list of fonts sorted alphabetically, but it won’t show the name, it might look something like this:

At least in Windows, that’s how it looks for me!

I’m not as familiar with Macs if that’s what you’re using, but I believe you have to close the program and re-open it in order to see newly installed fonts.
