I want us to look at rings, but i want to be cool about it. I don’t even want to bring it up as an activity. I am just hoping we will be passing one during our travels and he says “lets go inside…”…..fat chance….
Is there a way to convice him that we should go look at rings without outright saying it…how do i get HIM to bring this idea up?
Any tips bees?

Wish I had some advice for you. Stuff like this has happened to me before but I don’t quite remember how I swung it into action.
In this occassion, before hand, I would start mentioning that you want some new earings/necklace/ring whatever, START NOW. Haha. That way, when you are out and about, you can be like, “Stop here, I want to go look for those earings/necklace/ring that I mentioned,” and it doesn’t just seem out of the blue. And once you are in the store, that is all you.

@flowersandfaerydust: I don’t want to say anything about getting any other jewlary other then a ring. I have read too many stories about the let down of another piece of jewlary. “it’s the one you said you wanted, right?” Oh SO….

Do you have any jewelry that is broken, a watch that needs a new battery? You could say you need to go into the store to see how much they charge to fix something, and while you’re talking to the jeweler, maybe he will take it upon himself to browse? Or perhaps you could just say, “Oooh that’s gorgeous. My mother/sister/friend would love that for her birthday!” and then go in to inquire about that. OR you could say you have been wanting to get a ring for yourself online (like a cocktail ring or something) but don’t know your ring size and would love to find out so you could buy it. Just a thought. 🙂 Good luck!
Of course, most of these scenarios will only work if you’re walking through a mall or something. :/
