I went to see my dress this past weekend and it fit perfectly which was great. I will only need a slight tweak in the cap sleeves and a bustle.
Here’s my question, how should I bustle my dress? The seamstress was fixated on a traditional ballroom bustle. But I think I want something else, just not sure what. I don’t want to lose the beading/lace on my train. Any ideas or pictures are greatly appreciated!
These pics are from last summer, I’ve toned up a bit and lost a small amount of weight, I think it fits better at this point.

I have no idea, but that dress is amazing on you!

I’m going with the traditional bustle on my Milana because I really like the tulle on the bottom and didn’t want to lose that, and it kept the bottom sparkle in the picture. When she held the dress in a french bustle, I thought a lot of the sparkle got tucked under.
But yeah, I love my Milana, but the bustle is a bit of a challenge.

I am doing a 5-point french bustle. Then, i’m still keeping all my beading and such and the bustle actually flows really well with the desing of my dress. Could this maybe work for you? And not a 5-point french bustle in particular, but a french bustle?

Please…when you get this done…post some pics!! (I too have the Milana…being shipped in March…) *Nervousness* I have so many questions…you love it? I have yet to try it on…yet I knew it was the one *fingers crossed* Um…are you wearing a slip to bring it out more on the bottom? Is it quite heavy? I purchases cap sleeves as well…does it give you ample “boogie” room, or do you notice that you have to keep your arms by your side at all times…Hmm…let me know your thoughts!! My nerves are so bad. *sigh* 🙂

Mygawd, that dress is gorgeous. Or rather, you make that dress look gorgeous! (Sorry I can’t add anything to help with your bustle conundrum!)
