AbieY:  I’m sorry you aren’t happy with the service you were provided. It’s hard to say without seeing the contract and knowing your laws. But from what you’ve written the photographer has breached your contract. They should therefore ‘make good’ in some way. If it’s worth a lot of money then it may be worth you approaching a lawyer for advice. Otherwise write to the photographer pointing out the breaches and tell them that you’re not happy and that you will look to seek legal counsel if they don’t put things right. They also won’t want bad reviews on websites. Usually contracts have small print in them which excuse them if the second shooter can’t make it and so forth. You may not have a case. I’d wait until you receive the photos back first before raising problems. Good luck with whatever you choose.
