I usually find just steeping it in hot soapy water for a while and thena good rinse with cold does the trick

Take a shot glass or small cup, add a few squirts of Windex, then add some warm water and let your ring soak for an hour or so. When you take it out, use a soft makeup brush (I use a tiny eyeshadow brush with soft natural bristles) to clean all around the diamonds and the setting. Rinse with warm water and you’re all set!

I don’t really know how it’s supposed to be done, but I am realllllllly hard on mine (I wear it to work, and I work out in soil a lot of the time – I know, it’s awful), and I use a very soft bristled tooth brush with water to clean it from time to time.   Or I just end up taking it down to the jewellers and they take care of it for me haha.

P.S. The way I said is the exact way the jeweler told us to clean it. Also, I literally just cleaned my ring this way today and it is SO sparkly now!

I second the windex but I use a baby tooth brush!

I also use a soft bristle toothbrush with some warm soapy water which I then rinse off ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m still too scared of cleaning it myself with something that’s too harsh, so I just go in to the jewelers each month to pay down on our rings and have them clean my e-ring. Once we have our rings paid off there I’ll have to find a way to clean them at home and pop in the jewelers less often.

My mother was a jeweler until she retired. She also says windex and a toothbrush when you’re at home. You can also buy a small ultra sonic cleaner (what stores use) for pretty cheap now if you want to.
