Well I know bands are SUPER easy to make if you want to do it that way. Just cut a strip of paper that will wrap around the pocket fold and clue a square with a monogram overtop the the band edges. The monogram square can be printed off the computer with MS Word or Paint 🙂

If this works for you, I’m just tying ours with Raffia like a present 🙂

True. What about just closing it with a sticky dot

I went with the removable glue dots. They work perfectly to keep them down. I was going to go with the wax seal stickers but would be about $150 for them and they would add to the invitation postage.

Okay, I am very very uncrafty but this was really easy. I got the paper I needed for the belly bands and cut them lenghtwise into 1.5inch strips so each strip was 1.5×11 and then used a label that I had printed the individuals’ names on (e.g., Terry and Stephanie) to close the band. Easy peasy. I used these labels and they were so easy to print off of MSWord with mail merge.

We used Basic Grey magnets.  That way, people could open them up to read them, and then put them back together so they wouldn’t lose any of the pieces.

I’m going to second the belly band and seal option it’s super simple to make. We used scraps from our invitation backing to create the band and seal. There’s a tutorial on making a sticker seal here! The belly band and seal really add a little something special to the enclosure i think. Hope this helps.
