- Wedding: July 2012
Hey guys, I’m getting married in less than 6 months and there’s still a lot to be done. My fiance wants to be involved in the decision making process but without doing any work or sacrificing his time. He’s paying for majority of the wedding so his theory is that because he is the financial provider for the wedding he doesn’t have to sacrifice his time in anyway outside of work to help with the wedding. Which makes sense, however I am a full time student in a very tough commerce program and that is the reason I am not working, therefore unable to pay for the wedding.
I am struggling to juggle planning a wedding, making appointments, and school work and it’s really taking a toll on my education since I am falling behind in order to accomodate his availabiltiy (after work, naps, downtime, hockey, before getting to any wedding related things).
how do i tackle this situation? (he doesn’t want to wait any longer so pushing the wedding till im done school is not an option).
