I have extremely thin hair and in times of high stress I lose even more. I’d like to know if anyone has any ideas about how to conceal my very thin areas. I’m thinkig the best plan is to simply cover my head with something that covers up the balding areas.
I feel like this is the worst problem to have. I’ve tried so many things over the years and nothing seems to help aside from avoiding getting stressed. That’s difficult to do at times.

Have you been to a doctor and had tests done?

My friend has the same issue and these are some things that she uses. She wears headbands with big flowers on them, she also wears fun wigs and hats. She is in her early twenties though so I’m not sure if this style would work for you. Best of luck

@BlondeMissMolly: Yes, it’s stress related. My sister has the same issue.

When my hair fell out I wore hats an scarves. I shaved my head cuz I didn’t want to deal with patches (I’m spontaneous like that). I would try head bands, cute scarves, hats, maybe a wig. Hopefully that helps. Good luck!

Have you tried thickening shampoo? It may or may not help, depending on how severe it is, but it really helps my hair though I think I might be the only one who thinks my hair is thinning. Also, getting a gloss or demi hair color helps temporarily because it lets the hair shaft expand (or something like that).
