They sound so cute. I’d love to see a pic so I can help come up with suggestions.

Here’s a pic I found

Set of 3 Ceramic Crackle Glaze 12" Birdhouses $39

You could freehand a simple vine and leaf pattern, then paint a bird on each one.

OMG those are soo cute! Love the colors too. I say you don’t paint anything additional on them instead just get a flower embellishment and glue one on each birdhouse. Then add a tag with all of their names on it. I vote not painting their names on the birdhouses, only because they are so small and some shapes won’t look good with the name written on it. (Like the ones in the background with the jagged roofs)

Think this only on a much SMALLER scale. The flowers add some texture and color without being overwhelming. and it looks very cute.

PS: how much were those birdhouses?

Here I found these flower embellishments. Not sure if you are very crafty…but you could make these yourself for cheap!!

These would be good for a pop of bright color!

AND THESE ONES ARE MY FAVORITE. They are more neutral and look SO CUTE..

Obviously again you would have to think smaller. BUT it makes for a GREAT DIY project.

I would leave them as is. You already have a variety of colors and styles, once you add names to them and arrange them all together, they’ll look great. If you start adding little details to each house it will get too busy.

Realize this is very late, but just in case anyone has the same question – get cutouts of birds in various paper, write the names on those, and slap those on the birdhouses.  That way you get a little bit more color, some ‘pop!’ and for just a little bit of $ 🙂
