I was going to suggest a few things, but after actually looking at the pics of the venue, I don’t think I will.

I think a lot of what makes this space beautiful is that it’s so sparse and simple. If I did anything at all, I’d do one simple arrangement in front of the pulpit, and then maybe like some tall (~2′) glass cylindrical votive holders with tall, lit candles next to some of the pews.

Normally I’d be on-board for tulle, but I don’t think it’d be appropriate for this space. I’d go heavy satin ribbon, or nothing at all. If you’re going to do flowers, go minimalist. I think red roses (real, faux or paper) would look awesome in there.

You did an awesome job on the wreath. What about on the doors? That could look good on the pulpit, as well…though I’m not sure pomanders wouldn’t be overkill if you do that. Might save those for the reception site.

@FloretteLiz: I like that material, actually. It’s not the rough, more fishnet-y kind of material I was envisioning.

I think you are lucky that you are working with what amounts to a blank canvas. I am working around all kinds of decor obstacles with my venue! I might suggest putting a couple of pillers at the front of the church, behind the alter with some tall arrangements, or maybe a tall candelabra, and then hanging some kissing balls on the pews going down the aisle, and then add a nice aisle runner.

Aisle runner, two tall somethings (flowers or candles) at the front, and then something either hanging from the pulpit or on the wall – but first check if a rose-cross would be acceptable, and do that if allowed. If not, then another wreath would look beautiful.

I second the rose wreaths on the doors. They’re GORGEOUS. Good job!

That is SUCH a beautiful chapel!  I think your wreath is lovely and would look great on the front door.  I agree with PPs, maybe just a white runner and some altar flowers.
