I’m trying to figure out budget-friendly centerpieces right now but need ideas for everything.
Maybe hydrangeas? Any ideas appreciated!
Wedding color is similar to horizon blue.
Bridesmaids are wearing this http://www.billlevkoff.com/style/bridesmaid-dress/786
in horizon blue.

I’m just doing candles. A mirror plate, with one large navy blue candle, surrounded by smaller votive candles and then some blingy table crystals. I was going to go with gypsophila, as it’s fairly cheap, but apparently, it doen’t smell nice. I’ve seen the pale blue hydrangea in centres and it does look pretty

Candles are SO high impact for the cost. I’d suggest doing a couple different heights – tea lights, votives, and maybe some pillars scattered in there.
Are the lights dimmable in the venue? Once you bring those down and light up the candles as centerpieces – AWESOME.
Mine were about $30/table once you added in the extra candles – not sure if that is budget friendly for you or not, but they definitely could be scaled back (no LED in the bottom, less candles).

- Wedding: November 2013 - old cheese factory
@moneekw: im not sure how you feel about un matching vases but you can alway hit up your second hand stores and dollar stores. you can usually find nice looking glass vases for 1-2 dollars a piece. hydrangas are great flowers for brides on a budget. big and cheap 🙂 http://www.dollartree.com/floral/vases-bowls-containers/559c543c543/index.cat

@kristen182: I bought them from GlassSupplyDepot.com – they came out a little more expensive than what you can get at the dollar store but were SOOOO much better quality. I looked at the dollar store and was not able to find that kind of mix of sizes.
I was able to re-sell them on Craigslist after the wedding for about 70% of what I paid for them, so totally worth it. Check craigslist to see if anyone is selling some, or keep in mind that you may be able to sell them after the wedding and get money back. They were VERY easy to sell, the first thing to go.

Your venue really already carries the semi formal vibe – I really love the light in the ceiling.
What type of centerpieces are you looking to do?
If you’re looking into flowers, I would suggest something like this :
But in your colors. You could do white roses with blue tips. Sams clubs & costco sells bulk flowers for cheap prices.
The dollar tree sells 7 1/2″ cylinder vases.. once you add the flowers that makes your centerpieces about 10″ tall. I don’t think you’ll want to use very tall centerpieces in your venue, the ceiling seems somewhat short and could dwarf it.
If you wanted led lights, you can normally pick up 12 for around $10 on ebay.
