I just got my custom ring and I’d love to double check the size of it. I originally wanted a 1ct or 6.5mm center but decided on 1.5ct at 7.5mm. I know u can have it checked at a jeweler but were having crappy weather and I was hoping to do it today.

It’s hard to tell without having it weighed by a jeweler. Carat is a measure of weight not size so even if a well cut 1ct diamond averages 6.5mm, the size can vary. If it’s deep or shallow the mm size will vary even if it technically weighs 1 carat. the best way to do it from home is to go on diamdb.com and play with the dimensions (you also adjust it to your finger size) just too see, but this way isnt going to be super accurate.

I completely forgot to mention it’s moissanite.

If that is the case it should be aprox 7.5mm across the top of the stone from side to side. Just use the mm side of a ruler.
