when I made my STD magnets I just sent them to Vista Print and DIY’d a card to put them in.  It was in expensive and we got a lot of complements!

We made our STD by printing on very thin sheets of magnet using a photo printer. We then used a scrapbooking edger tool to clip the edges and make them round. They turned out absolutely perfect and look like a professional quality photo. It was also very cheap to make them, I think we calculated 30 cents each. After printing the magnets we attatched them to a card that my mom designed using a small strip of glue.

I am not sure where my mom purchased the magnet paper but I did a quick google search and it seems to be readily available at office stores.

Above is a picture of one of the test magnets that we printed off. Please excuse my finger printed fridge and sideways phone picture. I am not sure how to rotate on my phone.

Vistaprint is another good meathod for buying them, otherwise get the picture printed and but rolls of magnetic strips, cut and put on the back of the picture.

You could print it on photo paper or whatever paper you like and then glue them to a fun design of card stock (found at any scrapbooking or craft store) to make your STD stronger and thicker. To glue the photo onto the card stock I would use this glue tape that you can find in the scrapbooking section of any craft store because that glue tape does not cause wrinkling. Then purchase those magnetic strips that comes with adhesive on them already.
